Review: Polar Pizza at Baskin-Robbins
*Disclosure: I received a gift card to try the new Polar Pizza at Baskin-Robbins. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own.
Baskin-Robbins launched its Polar Pizza last month (July), as I talked about in my recent post about them, and because this past month was crazy busy for me, I didn't get to try the Polar Pizza until this past Sunday.
My parents and I went to the combined Dunkin' Donuts / Baskin-Robbins near them, in Novi, MI, to split one of the ice cream pizzas.
It was a busy day there because on the 31st, Baskin-Robbins does $1.31 scoops (great deal!). We checked out what pizzas were available, and this Baskin-Robbins had a few choices: Reeses, chocolate chip cookie dough, and about two or three other varieties. I tend to prefer vanilla ice cream and my mom LOVES anything cookie dough, so we chose the chocolate chip cookie dough variety.
My mom actually said that the pizza was better later on, at home, too, because it had had some time to thaw out - we pretty much ate it fresh out of the freezer, when we were at Baskin-Robbins, so it was still mostly frozen.
The crust itself was also a cookie crust, and it was delicious - reminded me of a cookie pie although obviously more frozen. There were cookie dough pieces on top too, and the ice cream in the pie was cookie dough ice cream.
I would order one of these for my next birthday, as it's a good alternative to a cake, and it would be great for any type of get-together or party, or even if you just wanted a cold treat on a hot summer day.

You can also make a custom Polar Pizza, you just have to give B-R a heads up - I believe 2+ hours - so that they can make it for you.
Our Polar Pizza was 8 slices so it could easily feed 4+ - there were only three of us, and my parents took home three slices. It's priced at $16.99 so I could see it being a good alternative to a birthday cake, if you have four to six people.
