This week was fairly busy for me with traveling—I headed to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for my day job, where I visited quinoa fields and learned all about quinoa.

What I've been up to this week:
- Saskatchewan trip. I was there from Monday to Wednesday, and had to connect in Minneapolis on the way there (3-hour layover which went to 4.5-hours when my flight was delayed, yay ...) and Toronto on the way back. I can't say I'd EVER connect in Toronto again, as I had to go through maybe three different customs lines. My trip, though, was very fun, and I was put up in a suite at The James, which was maybe the nicest hotel room I've stayed at in quite a while. I had never visited Saskatchewan before, too (only Ontario), and it's very beautiful, especially by the river area.
- Eating delicious things. This week is Troy Restaurant Week, and I took my boyfriend to The Melting Pot on Sunday, for both TRW and an early birthday dinner for him. I went to Brio's with coworkers yesterday for TRW, and I had a ton of delicious meals on my Canada trip, as well.
- Planning to eat delicious things. I will be trying out Beau's Grillery next week, and will be back with a blog post and a $25 gift card giveaway for my local (Detroit-area) readers, so keep an eye out for that.
- Walking and doing zumba. We started a "walking club" at work, and although attendance is hit or miss, myself and two coworkers try to walk Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Since I was gone Monday and Wednesday, I went for a walk today. I did zumba on Thursday night, as well. I've been trying to exercise more although there seems to never be enough hours in the day to do so.
- Catching up with friends. I saw three coworkers (two current, and one former) yesterday for TRW (Troy Restaurant Week), and I was texting with a high school friend of mine yesterday too. Sometimes life gets busy but it is always nice to reconnect with friends.
